Our coffee is roasted on a Huky 500, a specialized drum roaster that has more control than conventional coffee roasters. The Huky is able to bring out many characteristics of coffee that requires precise control over certain variables. With our master roaster at the helm of this machine we are able to craft the best flavor profile for a given coffee bean.
Pacific Gold Coffee is a micro coffee roaster which means that we only roast a limited amount of coffee at a time. This allows us to give more attention to each roast ensuring that we achieve the best flavor profile. Because each bag we produce is its own unique roast, slight variations do occur such as having more body or having more pronounced berry notes.
Working with such spectucular farmers enables us to have a heavy quality control standards that result in less defects per cup. However, this control means that less coffee will make the cut leaving less coffee available to purchase.
